Lidocaine Vaseline cream 3% FNA 30 grams
USE IT WITH
Lidocaine is a drug that locally numbs the skin and thus relieves itching and pain.
NOT TO BE USED WITH
- You are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
- You are hypersensitive to other local anesthetics such as bupivacaine, mepivacaine, and prilocaine;
- You suffer from bleeding hemorrhoids;
- You have a heart condition such as heart failure.
DOSAGE
For adults, the dose is 1-3 grams per application (two strips of cream the size of a fingertip).
The maximum dose per application for adults is 10 grams; no more than 20 grams of cream should be used per day.
You should thoroughly clean the anus beforehand.
Then apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area(s).
For pain and/or itching around the anus, apply the cream morning and evening, using a finger cot if necessary. Use the cream until the symptoms subside.
Use in the elderly and children:
For the elderly, children, and weakened or ill people, the dosage must be adjusted. Consult
your doctor.
