Washing without water products
With special wipes or washcloths you can wash each part of the body with a separate washcloth or wipe, without rinsing or drying the skin. This avoids the risk of cross-contamination. The products are impregnated with a special lotion that cleanses and cares for the skin. Skin irritation is a common problem with incontinence. Incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) is an inflammation of the skin caused by repeated exposure to moisture. This causes pain and discomfort. That is why incontinence products control the development of IAD at an early stage and also offer preventive protection. Who are washing without water products suitable for?
- Bedrid patients. Washing in bed with the basin is very uncomfortable, tiring and uncomfortable for the patient. The patient often lies naked for a long time and in uncomfortable positions.
