USE IT WITH
- Selsun is an anti-mycotic, a medicine that counteracts fungal diseases.
- Selsun is used for:
- Flakiness on the scalp as a result of excessive sebum secretion (seborrhea of the
scalp).
- Superficial fungal disease of the skin (pityriasis versicolor).
NOT TO BE USED WITH
- If you are allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
- On inflamed, scratched or (recently) damaged skin
DOSAGE
- Flakiness on the scalp (seborrhea of the scalp):
1. Wet the hair thoroughly with warm water.
2. Wash your hair with a regular shampoo first.
3. Shake the bottle of Selsun vigorously and pour in about a tablespoon
palm. Rub the hair well with this.
4. Let it work for 2 to 3 minutes.
5. Rinse well and wash your hands well.
6. Wash your hair again with Selsun (repeat steps 3 to 5).
7. Carefully rinse the hair and skin that came into contact with Selsun.
Wash your hands well, do not forget to brush your nails well.
Also wash skin folds and the genital area well.
Do not let the hair and scalp come into contact with Selsun for longer than the recommended application time.
Duration of treatment:
The first 2 weeks twice a week. The following 2 weeks once a week. Then as needed.
- Superficial fungal skin disease (pityriasis versicolor):
1. Shake the bottle of Selsun vigorously.
2. Apply Selsun to the affected skin, avoiding any contact with the eyes or
mucous membranes.
3. Let the applied amount of Selsun foam with some water.
4. Leave on for 10 minutes.
5. Rinse well and wash your hands thoroughly. Do not forget to take good care of your nails
brushing.
6. Repeat this treatment once a day for 7 consecutive days.
