Detection of anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG and IgM
The test is intended for professional use only.
There are two types of tests, the test that detects the virus immediately, the antigen test at the onset of the disease and this test that checks whether antibodies against COVID-19 have been produced using an IgG and IgM test if the disease has been present for some time. However, both tests can be negative as long as you still have symptoms of COVID-19. Therefore, always ask a doctor about the result. Further explanations can be found below and in the test manual.
The NADAL COVID-19 IgG / IgM Assay is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG and IgM in human whole blood, serum or plasma from symptomatic patients.

In June 2020, NOKLUS (Norwegian Quality Improvement of Primary Health Care Laboratories) evaluated the diagnostic accuracy and ease of use of 17 rapid tests for the detection of anti-SARS CoV-2 antibodies. The NADAL® COVID 19 IgG / IgM test is in the top 3 and received the best possible rating for all criteria considered.

The 2019-nCoV lgG lgM Rapid Test Cassette (whole blood fingerstick specimens) is for in vitro diagnostic use only. This test should be used for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies against 2019-nCoV in whole blood fingerstick specimens. Neither the quantitative value nor the rate at which the concentration of IgG or IgM antibodies against 2019-nCoV increases can be determined with this qualitative test.
The 2019-nCoV lgG IgM Rapid Test Cassette (whole blood fingerstick samples) indicates the presence of IgG and IgM antibodies against 2019-nCoV in the sample only and should not be used as the sole criterion for diagnosing 2019-nCoV infections .
As with all diagnostic tests, all results should be considered with other clinical information available to the physician.
If the test result is negative and clinical symptoms persist, additional follow-up testing with other clinical methods is suggested. A negative result at any time does not rule out the possibility of 2019 nCoV infection.
